Alumni Spotlight: Devin Lewis

After leaving the program in 2010, Alumni Devin Lewis followed in the footsteps of both his grandfather and father by joining the United States Marine Corps. After serving a tour in Afghanistan and being Honorably Discharged, Devin went to work for NW Container Services, a job that he credits finding with the help of his former Young Marines Unit Commander. “Without my Young Marines family, I would have never found this job.”

In 2017, Devin was named the Unit Commander of Lewis & Clark Young Marines(WA) ( Young Marines 6th Division) ; one of the largest units in the county and the same unit he was a member of almost eight years ago! “The Young Marines help the community in so many ways, I can’t find a better program to dedicate my time.” We are proud to count Devin as a registered member of the Young Marines Alumni Association.
